Transitional house halfway.Wellspring's first site, Ardery House, opened in 1982; was named after their founding chairman, Philip P. Ardery.This program helps people who leave the hospital and/or live hopelessly to achieve independent living.Although all participants have a diagnosis of mental illness, almost half also have a substance abuse disorder that occurs.Ardery House provides rooms, accommodation, life skills training, recreational activities, case management, and personal and group treatment for thirteen men and women.The average stay for residents in fiscal year 2009 was eleven months.
