Hours
Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 9:00 pmThe Veterans Northeast Outreach Center was founded in 1985 to address the needs of Veterans and their families throughout the Merrimack Valley. The Center offers information, referral, advocacy and support to the 36,000 Veterans who live in the valley. In 1997, the VNOC expanded its services to Veterans by opening a transitional housing program, The Veterans Mansion, to serve homeless Veterans. The Mansion serves 22 homeless Veterans who can benefit from a sober, supportive, working environment as they make their way back to the mainstream. The VNOC has grown over these past several years, responding to the needs of the Veteran population by providing a wide range of direct and indirect services such as a clinical individual and group counseling, case management, employment support services, emergency food supplies, and a large referral base. The VNOC has also enjoined with the local VA hospital to develop a network of services dedicated to the needs of the aging Veteran population. In the fall of 2001,the VNOC opened "The Veterans Campus" which added 25 transitional housing units, established "VetWorks", an employment assistance and placement service, and expanded its outreach service capacity.
Mission Statement: "The mission of the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center is to provide the highest quality of services to assist, support, and advocate for all Veterans and their families in Essex, Middlesex, Barnstable and Rockingham Counties."
