By providing a bridge between treatment centers and every day life, they can help to establish new job skills, at the same time helping to encourage the continued development of a support network. Developing hope and the subsequent translation into action. GoalTo increase the rate of recovery by teaching new job skills, such as, operating a computer and various software programs. Further instruction with general office equipment and decorum will also be addressed. It is their hope to provide food, and clothing and where able, a short term residence. The necessity of treating ones disease on a daily basis shall constantly be reinforced. The four absolutes and the twelve promises, stressed as goals that can be obtained through the need of and the benefit to all clients getting deeper into the A.A. Big book. The need to help internalize the workings of the Program and knowledge necessary to begin living a spiritual life that includes 12 Step program. Special emphases will be placed on the eleventh and twelfth steps. Passing the message on must be taken seriously. They hope to give precedence to the female addicts leaving treatment programs with their anticipated residential services. Many counselors have expressed the lack of facilities for women after treatment. They can hopefully address those needs.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to establish a “Community Re-entry Program” to help people learn to help themselves. By providing social and living skills to people leaving a Homeless or Battered Women’s Shelter, Treatment Facility, and/or Hospitals. Often times, a lack of job skills and how to apply for a position with a livable wage, contributes to a perceived feeling of hopelessness. To restore an individual’s ability to provide for themselves is our #1 Goal.
