The  Mission of New Direction To help men and women who are experiencing addiction to various substances, including alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and prescription drugs. The recent epidemic of opiate based drugs, including Oxycontin, Vicodin, and Percocets, has afflicted people of all ages and backgrounds, including young people who are often most vulnerable to peer pressure to begin the use of these drugs. Understanding the needs of their individual guests is critically important to us and is the basis of their practice of offering a variable length of stay, typically 21-28 days, based on their assessment of the severity of the addiction as well as the specific drugs of choice.
