Stand Down House opened its doors in May 2000 to provide emergency/transitional housing and supportive services for veterans struggling with addictions, mental illness, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries and physical limitations. We offer a short-term assistance program with a focus on recovery so that their veterans can transition to a stable future.
Mission Statement: Reintegrating displaced and at-risk veterans and their families back into the communities to sustain independent living, restoring their dignity and promoting community awareness.
