Second Genesis provides transitional shelter for women who have just been released from prison. Reunites them with their children once they have successfully completed initial programs, are employed, and are ready for more independent living but still benefit from a structured program.

Mission Statement: The SG Foundation, Inc. (SGF) mission is to provide financial support to organizations and institutions involved in the research and treatment of substance abuse. SGF anticipates making the majority of its grants in the Washington, D.C. region.
