Transitional Life Program The Transition Life (Halfway House) program is a structured transition treatment setup and designed for those customers who need extended residential support to successfully achieve the goal of recovery from addiction or co-occurring disease.The program focuses on the ongoing recovery and development of the personal skills and resources needed to maintain a healthy and more independent lifestyle.Treatment activities are complemented by recovery support groups (AA, NA, DRA, etc.) in the community.In addition to continued therapeutic counseling, Transient Life program clients also receive job readiness counseling.Transitional Living treatment activities take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each night so as not to interfere with the client's daily responsibilities at work.
