River of Life is a faith-based transitional house in Polk County, Oregon, for men recently released from jail or prison. Far too many men find doors closed to them once they are released from jail or prison because of lack of housing and/or the inability to find employment. The River of Life House provides a safe, sober, Christian environment where these men may begin to rebuild their lives.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a home for individuals to live while they learn to develop higher levels of responsibility, productivity, integrity, accountability and healthy life choices in a Christ-centered, Bible-based environment. The River of Life was presented to John in a vision (Rev. 22:1). Accompanying the river, John was told there will no longer be any curse and there will be no more night. We believe this is very appropriate for someone leaving his/her old life behind and embracing a new beginning. "But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he will live because of it.” -Ezekiel 33:19
