Oxford House Walden is a democratically run, self-sufficient and drug-free house.Oxford House Walden is a men's institution.Every house in Oxford is an effective and inexpensive method of preventing relapse.Each month, Oxford houses in the geographical area meet to share their common experience to ensure that Oxford House Walden operates in a way that preserves the good name of Oxford House and encourages more experienced houses to help newer ones. The men of Oxford House Walden will pay all the costs for the upkeep of the house.There are seven beds in this self-supporting and drug-free house.Oxford House Walden is part of the publicly supported, non-profit corporate umbrella organisation 501(c)3, which provides a network for all Oxford Houses and provides the resources to duplicate the Oxford House concept as needed.
