The Oxford House Ventura is a democratically run, self-sustaining, drug-free house.It's a women's house.Every house in Oxford is an effective and inexpensive method to prevent relapse.The representative of each Chamber in the chapter meets with other persons every month to exchange information, seek a solution to the problems in the Chamber concerned and to express the vote of this chapter on larger issues.The women of Oxford House Ventura pay all costs related to the maintenance of the house.There are eight beds in this self-sufficient, drug-free house.Oxford House Ventura is part of a not-for-profit organisation that provides the network that connects all Oxford Houses and allocates resources to duplicate the Oxford House concept where needs arise.
