Oxford House Swann is a self-governing, self-sustaining recovery home for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.This is a women-only house.Every home in Oxford is an effective and inexpensive method of preventing relapse.One representative from each House in the area meets with the others monthly, to share information, seek resolution of problems in a particular House, and express that Chapter's vote on broader issues.The women of Oxford House Swann take care of all expenses related to the maintenance of the house.This self-supporting and drug-free house has six beds.Oxford House Swann is part of a non-profit organisation that provides the network linking all Oxford houses and allocates resources to duplicate the Oxford House concept where needs arise.
