Son is due to be discharged from Detioncenter Center Dec.22. He has been sober since August and "has no intention of going back to drinking alcohol". His work is auto body, but because he has no driver's license work will be difficult to find. The lawyer I hired was to help with social services referral but hasn't, and am in NJ, ill, and more worried about my son than the disease that is killing me. My husband and I were told we would have to "watch over" Rick as, tho smart, he had a learning disability in regards to reading and comprehension. He also has back problems (that require surgery. He doesn't want to do, and no insurance. Add high Blood pressure .....Other than all these issues, he had 3 relationships, homes, boat, cars so I know he can get a good life back with support and help.
