Oxford House Sharon-Amity is a self-managed and self-supported recovery home for alcoholics and drug addicts.This is the house of all women.Every house in Oxford is an effective and inexpensive method of preventing relapse.One representative from each House in the area meets with the others monthly, to share information, seek resolution of problems in a particular House, and express that Chapter's vote on broader issues.Residents pay the rent, utilities and other expenses of the Sharon-Amity Oxford house.This house can hold eight residents.This self-driving and drug-free home is run by Oxford House, a nonprofit network headquartered in Silver Spring.
