The Oxford House Shadow Mountain is an independent, self-sufficient recovery house for alcoholics and drug addicts.Oxford House Shadow Hills is a self-sufficient, drug-free home for women.The Oxford Houses are a concept for recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.A representative from each House in the region meets with the others on a monthly basis, to share information, to try to solve the problems of a particular Assembly and to vote on this chapter on more important issues.This house has six residents.This self-sufficient, drug-free home is run by Oxford House, a non-profit network based in Silver Spring.
