Oxford House Mordecai is a self-directed and self-sufficient recovery house for the recovery of alcoholics and drug addicts.Oxford House Mordecai is a sober house for all men.Every home in Oxford is an effective and cheap method of preventing relapses.A representative of all the Houses of the area meets monthly with the others, to share information, seek the resolution of problems in a given House and to express the vote of this Chapter on larger issues.This self-service home has nine beds.Oxford House Mordecai is part of a publicly supported, not-for-profit umbrella corporation 501(c)3 organization that provides the network of all Oxford Houses and allocates resources to duplicate the concept of Oxford House where needs arise.
