Oxford House is democratically run by the residents themselves, they elect officers for a period of 6 months.As long as you don't drink alcohol, use drugs, and pay the same part of your house expenses, you can live in an Oxford House for as long as you need; the usual time is about a year.the current Members of the House fill out an application and interview; if there is a vacancy and 80% of the members agree, the applicant is accepted and moves in.
