Oxford House Elm Avenue is a democratically governed, self-sufficient and drug-free home.Oxford House Elm Avenue is a sober house for men.Oxford Houses is a recovering concept of drug and alcohol addiction.A representative from each House in the area meets monthly with the others, to share information, seek the resolution of problems in a particular House and express the vote of this Chapter on major issues.There are eight beds in this self-contained, drug-free house.The freestanding, drug-free home is run by Oxford House, a non-profit network based in Silver Spring.
