Oxford House is democratically run by the residents themselves, who elect officers to serve for a 6-month term.As long as you do not drink alcohol, use drugs or pay an equal share of the accommodation costs, you can live in an Oxford House for as long as you need to; the usual length of stay is about a year.Filling in the application and conducting an interview by the present members of the Chamber; in the case of a vacancy and approval by 80% of the members, the candidate is accepted and enters the Chamber.
