Oxford House Absecon is a self-contained health centre for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.This place only accepts men.Every house in Oxford is an effective and cost-effective way to prevent relapses.The representative of each chamber in the chapter meets monthly with others to share information, to seek solutions to problems in a particular house and to express this vote on larger issues.The men of Oxford House Absecon will pay all the costs of maintaining the house.This house houses eight residents.Oxford House Absecon is part of the state-backed 501(c)3 corporation umbrella organization, which provides a network of all Oxford Houses and allocates resources to replicate the Oxford House concept where needs arise.
