The Mission of Mercy Health System of Maine is to support the provision of health care services by the hospital, other health care facilities, and direct providers of health care serving the greater Portland area. The purpose of MHSM is to coordinate the activities of the hospital and other related organizations engaged in health care activities for the betterment of the general health of the community it serves.
