Marshall County Home Place Provides homeless families and individuals in Marshall County a helping hand in reestablishing themselves. Allows time to recover emotionally and financially and to develop independent living skills, thus becoming productive citizens. Services: Shelter / Household provisions Referrals & Transportation to other agencies training opportunities in budgeting, money management home-making, parentingpersonal hygienejob interviewing skillspreventative health care, etc. Opportunities to share and improve skills by active participation in day-to-day operation of the facility. Intake procedure: Must be referred by other helping agency,i.e. churchschool agency, etc.Eligibility: Must be a Marshall Co. resident in need of housing, shelter or in need of transitional housingHours: Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am - 4:00 pmFees: None, but clients must actively participate in program
Mission Statement: Marshall County Home Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency established to provide transitional housing for the homeless of Marshall County. Our focus is helping the homeless get back on their feet - providing a hand UP, not a hand OUT.
