Ohana Ola O Kahumana offers a twenty-four month transitional housing program for homeless singles or couples with children to acquire the necessary life skills to become self-sufficient and attain permanent housing. Provides 6 one bedroom units and 27 two bedroom units with kitchen and bathroom. Also provides 6 three bedroom units (2 units are barrie-free). Provides classes in home and garden management, nutrition, budgeting, educational and job training; crafts; cultural enrichment; personal growth and development. Also has a mandatory savings program and drug free supportive community (random drug testing).
