The mission of Julie Adams House IncorporatedTo enhance the emotional, social, and spiritual health of Women, of all ages inflicted with addiction, by providing women an affordable, safe, clean, and sober environment where they are taught the principles of a 12-step program and taught the skills needed to become useful members of society. Julie Adams House is Non-medical, Structured, Sober Living Environment serving Cuyahoga County and surrounding areas. Services Julie Adams House Incorporated is an organization that provides transitional housing and life skill training for women. It offers assistance to women, suffering from alcoholism and/or drug addiction, as they move from dependent, often abusive ways of living into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles. Additionally, it assists clients with an affordable living option . Two-phase rehabilitation Julie Adams House offers a 6 month rehabilitation plan. A women is admitted directly into phase one of the program, which last about 2 months. The first 60 days of the client\'s stay is considered 1/2 way status, and will be spent in five, one hour long recovery groups daily, Monday through Friday, and three groups on Saturday. During these groups women will be introduced to the concepts of a 12-step program. Every evening residents are required to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. After the first phase of the program, clients will begin to look for work, during this time they will be considered as transitional. They will still abide by the same rules and regulations as the 1/2-way residents. Once the client gains employment and pays their first months rent the will be moved to phase two which is 3/4 status. During the remainder of the clients stay they will be required to hold employment and attend five 12-step meetings a week. 3/4 clients will have a curfew of midnight, daily.
