The Group Residential Housing program at Juel Fairbanks provides 20 beds for chemically dependent adult American Indian men and other underserved men. Clients apply for financial assistance through Ramsey County and typically receive general assistance and medical assistance. Their program includes Case Management services in which clients can set goals and receive assistance toward reaching their goals. The focus typically includes permanent housing, education and employment. Once employed, a resident can save his earnings in an account that he can use when he has completed the program. Wellness is also encouraged, and clients receive support in setting and keeping medical, dental and psychological care appointments.
