High Point's Community Transitional Support Services (TSS) program is part of an extensive continuum of substance use disorder services, including residential rehabilitation services, ambulatory services, narcotic treatment, and other transitional care. The purpose of the program is to bridge the gap between detoxification and step-down services to residential aftercare. This goal is accomplished by creating a safe, supportive, substance-free environment that enhances and promotes the participant's recovery while awaiting placement in residential or sober housing. Referrals are accepted from Department of Public Health funded detoxification programs and shelters located in Southeastern Massachusetts. Target populations include the homeless, those new to treatment, as well as those who have long-standing histories of substance use disorders and criminal justice involvement.
