Mission Statement: The mission of Homeward Bound is to end the cycle of chronic homelessness in Asheville. Our primary purpose is to move chronically homeless persons into service-enriched permanent housing. In addition, we support those who are “passing through” a period of homelessness by providing a comprehensive package of services—in partnership with scores of community organizations—tailored to the needs of each individual. We also collaborate with others in the community to prevent the occurrence of homelessness.
