The causes of family homelessness and domestic violence are profound and varied. As a result there is no single service that universally helps families overcome their barriers to independence. In order to help, Doorway for Women and Families has created a four-tiered strategy to meet both the immediate and long-term needs of their clients, as well as address the economic issues that lead to violence, poverty and family homelessness.
