Dayspring lovingly meets the basic needs of homeless families seeking assistance and connects them with opportunities to help them realize their potential.
Mission Statement: Dayspring Center provides emergency shelter, clothing, and three nourishing meals a day for homeless families with children in central Indiana. Families turn to us as a last resort: some to escape domestic abuse, others have experienced financial collapse, medical problems, or other crises that caused them to lose their home. But as more than a shelter, we also work with each family to address the issues that left them homeless. A wide range of resources and support services empowers parents and children with the life skills and tools they need to become healthy and independent again. Breaking the cycle of homelessness is full of challenges, but the compassion and dedication of our staff ensure a high success rate of families obtaining housing once more.
