Maili Land provides temporary housing for homeless families (living on beaches, in cars, or in emergency/transitional shelters) focusing on those with children under the age of 19. A structured environment helps families develop the necessary skills, education and income to obtain and retain long-term permanent housing within 24 months of program intake. General services include: intake assessment, referral and case management services, on-site educational classes, employment preparation, guidance in planning for a successful transition, post-exit follow up services.Youth activities, clothing, bedding, and emergency food are also provided.
