Casa teresa, inc. provides pregnant women in crisis a loving home to being their healing journey. They also provide residential program provides individually tailored case management, training, education and support. Moms in the Parenting Program are eligible to apply for the Transformation Program when her baby is 2 months old. The program focuses on preparing the mothers to become self-sufficient within 2 transitional years. During this time, residents are required to attend school or job training full time. The Transformation Program both phase 1 and phase 2 facilities are located next to the the main parenting building The first building offers a communal-style living in a six bedroom house and can hold up to six women and their babies. The second offers a six-unit apartment building which also accommodates six women and their babies. Admission criteria requires females to be 18 years of age or older, drug and alcohol free for the previous six months and agree to remain so for the duration of their stay. Women must provide proof of pregnancy and documentation of a negative TB test. Lastly the applicants can have no other children currently residing with the prospective resident and upon admission, residents must obtain employment, enroll in school or actively volunteer in the community.
