Casa Marianella Austin provides free, transitional housing for homeless immigrant women with children. Has room for 8 families at one time. Families stay an average of 3 months. Services for residents: child care, referrals for counseling, legal assistance, and health care, education in nutrition, English, health, safety, literacy, and budgeting, monthly bus passes, transportation to medical, legal, and counseling appointments, and car seats. Provides school supplies and assists in enrolling school-age children in school. Eligibility: Homeless immigrant women with children Fees: None Intake Procedure: Call to schedule an appointment
