Hello at Bridgemark, I'm an alcoholic looking to better my current situation by moving back to the NE. Today is my actual 39th birthday and on Monday I 'celebrate' my 100 days. I'm living on my ex-girlfriends couch and decided a few weeks ago I need a complete change. Being around my old habits and patterns isn't healthy and as I've heard in AA meetings a hundred times now, 'hang out at the barber shop long enough and you're going to get a haircut.' So I've decided to start over in Rhode Island. I've spent the morning looking up programs and found a lot of healthy looking places though wanted to reach out to you due to the fact you deal straight-up with addiction and housing; two huge problems on my list. I plan to buy a ticket and make my way out there as soon as I find a safe sober environment to temporarily reside in, then get a job and hopefully get back on my feet.
