Alpha Omega Veterans Provides transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless male veterans with dual diagnosis. Men who complete a 90-day program may stay for up to 18 months at the 10 halfway house locations. Ninety-day program includes shelter, counseling, clothing, and meals. Also provides a hospice with palliative care for terminally ill or convalescent male veterans, initially serving eight veterans, Alpha Omega now has the capacity to house over 120 veterans (male and female) and provide counseling services to many more. They have served nearly 10,000 veterans since those humble beginnings. Today, Alpha Omega provides each veteran with a 30-day to 2-year program with a goal of having them successfully rejoin society, engage in healthy independent living, and secure placement into permanent housing. Each program has an integrated system of services including food, clothing, housing, transportation and assistance with rehabilitation that have been designed to meet the needs of their veterans.
